Wow, this is an amazing piece. I love the comparison of the size of the fireball to the size of Ace; it really gives the comparisons in size a powerful image. (he's also amazingly detailed despite his size.) I love how he's noticeable even though he's practically standing in the fire.

I really like the balance between the strong brightness of the orange and yellow flames against the soft white and blue background! I also like how the white is used alternatively to give extreme brightness to the flames but also used to give the sky above a very light feel to it.. The lines that are used to define the fireball on the bottom left and right hand sides of it (closest to the flames that Ace is standing in), could be blended a bit better. It's a large fireball that is bound to make lots of light. Perhaps making the areas around the left and right bottom-ish middle edges of the piece itself a bit brighter because of the glow of the fireball.

Since the flames seem to be approaching the fireball on only one side (the side that is facing us). Maybe you could add more flames around the sides of the fireball (but keep them that lighter color to make sure the fireball holds it's original crisp feel to it.)

But i thought since the fire ball is a fireball, then it shouldn't have such a defined line against the background (unless it's currently expanding and the flames have no time to take their natural flame-like shape).

Overall, I am very impressed with your work on this. It shows you are a very advanced, capable artist.

I hope i wasn't too harsh.

Great Job! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>
